      Thomas emigrated with his parents to New England in 1634. He was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company in 1638. He removed from Roxbury to concord, and later to Middletown, Ct.

     She married John Bigge.¹ Rachel died.


Rachel, widow, came in the "Elizabeth" 17 April 1635. Settled at Dorchester; member of church, and propritor in 1637.


Her will was probated 30 April 1647; sons-in-law John Stow of Roxbury and Peter Masters in England, and their children; nephew Hopstill Foster; James Batte, Clement Batte and his daughter Rachel, and several other persons.

The name of Thomas Griggs is in the original book of Town Records of Roxbury 1636-1640. His estate was twelve acres. A notice of his death was written by Apostle Rev. John Eliot.
